So I came across some cool mica powder (it’s a pigment that dyes resin) that changes colour when exposed to the heat, or when cooled down. It’s super cool. I had to try it out. It’s called thermogenic powder and what it does is changes colour when exposed to the heat. So a 31 Celsius (89 Fahrenheit), whether the room is hot, it’s sitting in the sun, you’ve been holding it in your hand, or you’ve dunked it in water, it will change from one colour to another. How cool is that?

When you cool it down, it changes back to the original colour. I have a lot of printer filament that does this, but having dice that I’ve custom and hand made, is even better! I can do these in all of my dice styles, including sharp edge, potion, elongated, D6 sets, individual D20’s, etc. Some colours are more sensitive than others, and some have more vibrant changes than others. I’m really excited to announce that I’ll be selling these as soon as next week at the Farmer’s Market!
